The food was good, but the door noise in my room was really annoying.

The cozy double room had a uniquely inviting charm, perfect for unwinding after a long day. Enjoyed the scenic outdoor dining for meals that offered quality local fare.
Navigating the narrow country lanes to get there can be a headache, especially in the dark or during heavy rain. Limited parking spaces were a hassle, making arrival less convenient. the inconsistent breakfast service had us confused about what to expect, as on one morning we received the wrong orders. Noise from the bar can seep into the rooms on busy nights, so light sleepers might want to keep that in mind. Lastly, the presence of a few cobwebs indicated that cleaning could use a bit more attention.

This quaint inn nestled in a peaceful village offers a wonderful atmosphere. The bedroom was beautifully appointed with cozy furnishings, perfect for relaxation after a long day of exploring. Breakfast exceeded expectations with a great selection, including a delicious full English and freshly baked pastries. The staff were very welcoming and even treated my dog to an extra sausage, making our stay feel personal and enjoyable. I faced some inconvenience with parking due to its limited availability, which made arrival a bit tricky. On the second night, the room was not cleaned, but fresh towels were promptly provided upon request. There were also no evening dining options available as the kitchen closed early on Monday and Tuesday, which was not communicated in advance. These oversights marred an otherwise lovely experience, but I appreciated the charm and cleanliness of the inn.

lovely stay but some details need attention
The garden view from my room was a true highlight, providing a serene atmosphere to unwind. The staff were incredibly attentive and went out of their way to ensure I felt welcome throughout my stay. The beer garden was beautifully kept, offering unique seating options that added charm to my evening.
Parking can be quite tricky, especially during busy times.

We had a fantastic two-night stay with amazing dinner experiences. the food was some of the best we've had! Breakfast was just as delightful, setting us up perfectly for our hikes. Just a heads up, the room varies a bit from the photos. while cozy, it lacked the promised shower, but the charm made up for it.
